Japan Alive represents in Shichigahama, Japan

Children from Shichigahama who lost their homes - still manage to smile

As many of you know, Japan has been ravaged with earthquakes/tsunamis/nuclear meltdown fears, etc – however in the midst of disaster there have been seeds of hope!

We actually have a couple of our volunteers who miraculously survived the disasters in the area of Shichigahama. Even more miraculously is that there were baby kits stored at their house for future adoptions. So we were able to hand out diapers, blankets, formula and other baby items to those in need. The people were so overwhelmed! Such an awesome opportunity to spread some hope and love!

At the beginning of the year, Teddy shared about the Red Cord – “Even in the midst of shaking, there is always hope. We can extend the cord to others, we can give hope to the hopeless. We can see valleys of trouble transformed into Doors of Hope.” She will have lots to share in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
